RS Godzillasaurus goes on jolly, goes bang.

Dominar Rigel is, above all, a caring employer. He knows that before he packs the Godzillasaurus and his bodyguards onto the ship for the long journey to Mars it's wise to let them blow off a little steam. Or there will be (even more) roaring and stealing of chocolate before bedtime.

On their way to the port there was a, um, detour via the Mos Ido municipal refinery*. Nothing serious. A refinery is like a doggy park to a Godzillasaurus. His little tail's thrashing!

*Venus has a wealth of biological products lacking on Mars. From light machine oils to medicinal compounds. Fabrics and exotic leathers, hard woods and even paper. Using transport that uses sunlight to heat a boiler, “up” is cheaper than “down”. The impact on a species entering their iron age will undoubtedly be explored. Humans had large scale mining and factory production of tools and jewellery before farming.

Figures.  Young ladies from Alternative Armies. Godzillasaurus is a soft plastic toy from a range now gone.  Security are old, old Peter Pig SF range.  I think it got sold off but haven't seen it redone.  Shame, it was a large range ahead of its time.  Officer is an old style GZG Japanese officer.

The effects of the depot & explosives are the same. Easiest way was 9 blind markers, 6 yes, 3 no. These will be placement specific, so marking particularly dangerous bits.  During play these are ignored or you get figures moving for the wrong reason.

Godzillasaurus was controlled by random movement and used the schedule move or shoot, shoot, roar.  I toyed with a causes fear mechanism attached to the roar, but didn't.  If you think of a lion or tiger's roar it's designed for such an effect.  Possible quick Q test if close, fail gains pin, critical fail run like wosname.

The game.  

I took the  tourists and won the initiative.  Everyone sneaked in, Godzillasaurus homed in on his first target. 

A slow entry via reactions.

Officer.

2 shots &target got.  A reaction log shot from the Sergeant clips his ears, gives him a pin.

Keeping out of the way.

Archer spots movement.

The forces of the legal law encroach moment by moment.

Yep! There's one!

Whack!  One dead guard.  So much for armour-.  The guards suffer morale, despite their tactical discipline.

Eeek!  Time to move!

Movement on the flanks- far away from Godzillasaurus!

New target-.

The blast knocks him and the archer down.  He suffers an attack.  A 20- imagine the force of the blast blowing back in his mouth, tearing his head off-.  Scratch on Godzillasaurus.  The girls all fail morale.

The truck goes up - but doesn't start a chain reaction.

Now starts a desperate fight-.  A guard attacks the sword girl, then goes back, shoots her in the sword arm mangling it.  That effectively takes her out of the fight.

Next it's the turn of the Bow girl.  She whacks him on the head.  Coin underneath shows unloaded.

Another guard rushes in.

Hounded by shots from the Sergeant, Staff girl crawls in cover then runs back.  She was heading for the parking lot, as a new vehicle would help-.

The other guard moves back before help arrives.

First she runs away, the recruit acting as a bird dog.

Then she doubles back, spear point first and takes the poor recruit out.

Then she runs back and engages another.

Another long shot from the Sergeant.  The poor sword girl gets thumped in the head, another pin.  Close-.

The guard sneaks up, shoots Bow girl from cover, knocking her down.  She'd racking up the pins something rotten.

That allows the other guard to concentrate on Staff girl.  She rolls crap and dies.

That's it.  One armless, one down with 8 pins, 2 dead.  Game over.  Thanks to Godzillasaurus a lot more one-sided than we expected.
