RS Time Wars 2) Morvellans vs Victorian Japanese, Skaro vs 2nd Empire Daleks.

Sometimes things don't go the way you planned. 
You end up in a meat grinder world of hurt. 
Twice. 
Crom.

Game 1.  The Morvellans (in turn 1) go Down the timeline to Victorian and walk to the next encounter.  Tony took the Morvellans and diced for entry point.  He reasoned that being law abiding they would use the road and abide by local laws.

The locals are in place, guarding, as they are guards. There target, held up by me phone.

 In comes the first Morvellan.  It gets spotted by the Sergeant (reaction) and the alarm is sounded.  It takes 2 hits with just pins.


On reaction a guard runs as more advance down the road.



Grind, grind.  First guard shot down.



Hiding - watch out for the hole.

 

Guard running in the mud.  Fortunately he was not carrying scissors.



You did not want to do that.  Failed agility roll.  Walk, don't run.


The fence makes a good rest and gets a kill!  They can be hurt.


Gratuitous bum shot.


The construct easily leaps over the barrier and misses.  Tries again and shoot the guard down, wounded.

 

The other guards advance with the definite sound of water filled boots and a steady flow of colourful language.  The Sergeant looks on.  He tried a very long shot at the rearmost - and got a pin.  Which was nice.



The guards advance and start shooting.




Another down!  The heavy weapon rolls a 1 in morale and sneaks off.



 The downed guard gets a few pins gone & he manages to get a couple of in-close shots, downing his persecutor.



The last Morvellan comes on, leaps the fence falling flat on its face and dropping its weapon.  Yes I've done it.  At least there's no brook here-. (Critical failure on Agility roll)


After that, it's just mopping up!


1 wounded.  I'd expected to die but take a good few with me.  We wondered what would have happened if they'd come on from the other end of the road?

Time for coffee and Game 2!  Make no apology for using same set.  Government contracts.

Ok, admit it, need better painting.  It's just- plastics.

2nd Game 2nd Empire  All the Dalek drones are green as the experienced gets bumped up to the away teams.  Black Dalek is new appointee as last one got cheesed.

Rogue Stars usually favours the largest team.  Hum.

Tony took the defenders and allocated his forces.

 I managed not to give too many reactions.


Oh look, a 20 - first of many!


 First decent shot & damage, but I've got most on!  I can advance and overwhelm! Daleks advance and overwhelm!  Daleks advance and overwhelm!  Please!


"Shall we give him a hand?"  - "No, he can ma- anage".


 All present and correct.


Manages to shrug off damage.


A moves in and shoots all the Daleks.  Yep, all 3.


Black top is down and the same one is hit again.



Time for no.3. no, I'm not getting any reactions!


A pot shot, a pin.  a look.


I'm racking up pins & stress due to morale.  A few reactions-.



Now its the turn of the poor Ogrons.  Tony gives up the initiative, gets 2 reactions - kills first Ogron then gets initiative back.  I'll get me coat.

At least the Japanese needed a team.  not just one.  Ouch.  A is go longer green-.
