RS Bloody Revenge of the Nazi Werewulves!


Having suffered defeat in the hands of the locals not once- but twice the forces of the Reich seek their rewenge on the Dirka Dirka Shirkas Jihad and the remnant of the Dirka Dirka Shirkas Burkas Jihad. Simple, really!

Their mission is to take and hold the sacred site at Wadi El Appened until reinforcements arrive. Let's hope the don't make a dogs dinner out of it! Having lost Black Hat they are free to let their inner nature loose upon the world.

The locals. They won the last 2 games gaining 9 for Interrogation and 12 for rescue so have 221 to play with!  The poor woman who suffered the abduction I'm presuming has not yet recovered.  As with any such force, there are always more coming out of the adobe.

The Game.  You have to remember, dear reader that it's dark.  Hidden away in the noxious atmosphere table there's "thick and dark air" spot rolls -2 LOS limited to 10".  So we took that as gospel, on trend and in the codex.  I used a modified Control Terrain.  Could have used Secure Area with the time limit representing the rising of a full hunters moon.  Lots of howling--.

I took the locals, so Tony got given the - initiative.  First they move in on the main building.  But!  They are spotted!  My brave-but-stupid Dirka Dirka raises the alarm.


Tony gives up the initiative, not that it matters, he gets as many if not more reactionsas I get activations.  "B" comes screaming around the corner-.



Grey ascends.


"H" comes running around the corner and runs straight into the back of Lassie.  With frantic backhanded lunging he gets her down then OOA!


Pointer runs in.  Not overly happy.


He kills "H" but "B" has completed his very slow run.


Grey gets to the roof and tears "E" apart.  He gets 7 pins and 2 wounds before being left to bleed out.


"B" suffers 3 wounds before being left as a bleeding wreck.


All mine are piling on the pins through morale fails.  Makes it very easy for Tony to take the initiative!



At last "D" plucks up courage to advance.


The other Wulves go hunting.


Pointer resumes the hunt and "D" follows him.  Bit like fish following a shark.'


That annoys Pointer, who's getting an aversion to pointy sticks.


Poor "D"suffers 8 pins and 2 wounds and loses his spear.  Can you imagine the screams in the night?


Pointer manages to fall over.  embarrased he gets up and leaves.  You'll note that there's 3 of mine not dead, just ineffective and pinned.

"I think I hear something!" "SHHHHHH!"


"F" comes upon the scene of carnage.


Grey is master of all he surveys.


A noise attracts his attention-.


Stalking, sneaking, not giving away reactions, dammit.


"G" is jumped and mauled.  Only 3 wounds before mercifully going out of action.



In comes Donner, but "B" is a tougher adversary in higher ground and takes 3 wounds - there's a trend.  Few kills many wounds--.


Donner is knocked down, but you cannot keep a good dog down for long!



The fight comes to its grisly conclusion.



Meanstwhile "F" is being stalked-.


Grey underestimates his opponent.  The way we read it is that he runs onto the spear.  He dies!


"This is mine".


Reality dawns on "F" and he decides that a change of scenery might be advisable.  Plus, its all gone quiet.


The ex-leader of the Dirka Dirka Shirkas Burkas Jihad hasn't moved all game, just stood there collecting pins.  Pointer pounces, she's frozen to the spot and has her head ripped off. 

The other one, in the small building, managed to get 4 pins without doing anything.  She got rid of 2, but never moved.  She was probably played with then butchered.



At the end-  Yellow pins.

Having won, the Wulves gain 12 from gaining the terrain and a massive 9 for killing (eating) the enemy.  Their turn to start with 221.

I could have designed the Wulves several ways, but the armour gained from Artificial (i.e not natural) worked.  Extra legs reflected 4 legged movement.  I presumed these were a "fresh" unit using natural abilities.  So having killed may now learn other skills-.
