RS Daleks - Imperial vs 2nd Empire

I think you can see way this is heading, although there's a little more to do yet!  Although you'll note that I'm going through my collection & working them out-.

In case you've been in another dimension-.  Daleks are Khurasan Exterminators.  The HW has a 6mm weapon from GZG (I think)

Interesting problem having 2 near- identical sides.

I am wobbling betwix being a Dalek fanatic and a Mars fanatic.  Hmmmmm.  You don't mind do you?  as long as you get yer dose of porn!

We are approaching a lean time (we've already missed some due to the ferociously hot & close weather) as doing other Stuff.

The game.  Tony took the ((green, thus mint-) Imperials and won the initiative.  He got sneaky with the leader.

I got my HW vet up there and in the only cover on the board.

Long range, pah!  So die all imperialist lackeys!

That causes a concerted response that puts my HY down staggered, (behind cover) but not out.

But what is this?  A sneaky imperial on the flank!

Meanstwhile, back on the other flank-  remember F the Ogron killer last time?  Well he's back (I didn't make this a follow-on) and at it again- he gets close, real close-.

Do you like the scenery?  There's £6's worth of the best wot Poundland could provide-.

Cracking on (obligatory if scenery mentioned) F kills my drone and Tony's imperials have successfully bracketed me rebels.

He's out there somewhere-.

Got him!  Now a dash to reboot the HW.

Close support, but watch your sides!

The HW is up, but his rescuer pays the reaper.

F does it again!  Longer range this time.

Angling for a shot, but the HW is using the dead as cover.

Darn, sitting target!  Time to move-.

Got him!

The 2 leaders face each other, but the pins tell and the HW goes down to the imperial.

My standard urban/undead basing.  Generic no-more-nails applied roughly.  Painted black then highlight white(s).  Letter bead indicates that this is a lead from the front type under-officer, black top's are Sergeants.

That was enjoyable.  We could have rushed a second game (if we'd got on with it).  Slight advantage in armour was noticeable, trading numbers for armour, as was my ability to roll under 5.  I think I got the balance and feel about right.  More to come-.
