I have an older force of these that I use as pirates.

This list is based on 1 pack of each, £15 in total.  How I organised them I needed to add one more figure.  I have a second pack of the support weapons that I'm going to change for an anti-vehicle variant - somewhen.

Support unit 7p.

2x Elite units 18p

3x Heavy Infantry 12p

3 HI, 1 elite & support = 25.   2 elite and support = 25.

Dearest reader.  It looks like the move is finally happening!  I've taken a brief opportunity to get some stuff started if not completely finished.  When I "dry up" I'll be rather busy!  Then there's the sorting--.  THEN  I'll explore printed Daleks.  The Dalek Risk ones below are OK, but I cannot get rid of the mould lines.

Force 2.  There are several Alternative Armies figures that will make excellent Dalek Robomen and slaves.  I bought a couple of these during a recent sale:  https://www.alternative-armies.com/products/hot21-zombie-horde.

The Mohawk'd one makes an ideal semi-roboman'd type as an overseer, I'll add a whip to each later.

That gives me 3x 10 rabble units for £10.  What's that?  Two 28mm figures.

like this GZG rather small listing for later Robomen.  Pack of each gives me 16 figures, Three units and 1 spare.

Two United Nations Space Force combat groups as close to 25 points I could do them.

2 light tanks plus 2 units of elite infantry.  Very mobile and air mobile.

The infantry come in 3 "grades".  Lighter infantry are in light power armour so would be heavy infantry in any other force.  Not air mobile so carried in 2 APC's.

Very Heavy Elite Infantry so beefed up that they're vehicles.

All vehicles are GZG, as are bulk of infantry.  Big power armour are from Brigade.  Support walker is a really, really old Pendraken

Game 1.

Dalek invasion of Earth.  I've come to regard that film as the Dalek version of a hobby farm.  There's lots of ways to get the job done.  But the Dalek in charge rounds up all the population.  To hurt them worse it takes the strongest minds and turns them into mindless overseers.  Meanstwhile the Daleks get to go hunting.

Here's my first version.  Poor humans driven in front by crudely adapted robomen.  Daleks protected by cloned robomen.

Easton took the Ogrons and set up behind a hill.

Matt took all the UN.  MY ERROR.  Matt mistook my sheets and treated vehicles as individuals, which gave him greater firepower & manoeuvrability.

He got initiative and swiftly made use of the cover.  Airmobile.

Tanks tear into the poor slaves.

Get out of the bus!

Ogrons advance.  The support is hidden by the flank of the hill.

UN infantry pushed back from the parapet.

Tanks again.

UN peel back the civilians and start on the Daleks, but take damage from the support weapons.

The civilians are pushed forward to take the casualties, allowing the robomen to get close.

Ogrons advance.

The civilians and robomen disappear in a hale of fire without managing any in return.

Very Heavies manoeuvre, Heavies have a good position.  APC takes damage and firefights the Ogron support.

Ogron infantry fight a rather one sided battle with the light infantry, losing the commander.

The VHI engage the depleted Daleks.

Daleks wiped out!  No commanders.  Game over---.

Game 2  My phone charger decided to go very slow, never managed to get above 50%, so I missed more pics early in the game.  Sort of a meet & greet - I try scenarios when I can, but there's enthusiamish but no real support.

Matt took the mixed Ogron and Dalek force.  He put both supports on the dominant hill, turning it into a strong point.  Tony had the HI and tanks, me the rest.  Tanks were the first target from the weapons. Daleks damaged my HI, but I got one in return.

Come and get it--

Flanking move by VHI who start chewing up the Ogrons.

Looks like a proper game, yes?

Tony's HI are wiped out, Daleks shoot tanks.

Berserkers go in!  They come off worse BUT kill the commander!

The support weapons drive off the tanks.

Daleks turn their attention to the HI.

The remaining Berserks manoeuvre and become priority target.

The HI are sent reeling.

Now the APC's are pushed back.

VHI move to support the centre, well, what's left.  One advantage, they can move & shoot.  Although they come off worse.

Light infantry still takes fire and retire.

Some good/bad rolling and my VHI melt!

Well that end that!
