OGAM Gods in Dragon Rampant


Personal update.  Still no move, although we are getting there.  No painting, basing assembling.  A bit of buying.  To say I'm greatly frustrated is to say the least.  I have 2 Achaean forces assembled, one in my wheely trolley of doom and another 4 in my toolbox got ready for the last Beach Head.  The OGAM sheets are there, so I thought I'd adapt for Dragon Rampant so that when I'm not there they can be used.


First off Of Gods And Mortals is by far the better set of rules.  It's crafted for a set of specifics and it does so beautifully. 

Rampant series is a fast and fun, playable set of rules.  Lion rampant copes well with Medieval but not as well once you get away from that. Dragon attempts to fill in the gaps.  You get to roll a lot of dice, which is nice.

Did this work?  No.  But, well worth a go.  Mayhap I could have put more work into designing the gods.

Athena


Apollo.


The objective was a treasure chest in these ruins.  Apollo's and Athena's skirmishers head for it.


Hera moves up slower to confront Athena.


Athena crushes a unit, but takes damage.


Apollo's shooting holds back the pike.


Meanstwhile Hera gets trounced by Athena!





Having gained the objective, Apollo and his forces do a runner before Athena turns up.
