OGAM being lazy, 2 days, 2 games.

 

Dearest reader.  We have had, here in the UK- summer!  This is not British nor Playing The Game!  So life has intruded.  I found that my chromebook does not like the heat.  It would lose connection and I'd lose whatever work I'd done.  So I've a swathe of these to get through before it gets hot again.

Here is cheating, Tony and I "using up" the armies assembled for my 4 way.  So zoom back if you want to re-familiarise yourself with the army list.

Osirus

Today's battle is brought to you by cookies.  Accept cookies.   They are your Mother.  They are your Father.

The Game.  Tony took Osirus and won the initiative.  A nice busy table.

Tony starts a pincer movement.

Just to prove that even gods can go wrong- 1 success, 3 fails, 2 fails the same colour so that's turnover and 1 reaction for 'er.

The reaction is taken as a move into the woods.  The Gaki engages but is repulsed. 

Just to prove - Izanami, rolls effectively the same, but she's got 3 successes.

She stalks forward.

The one reaction allows Osirus to leave the trees.

Osirus attacks the village, kills one pushing the defenders back.

Here comes Izanami, squashing Osirus against the peasants, which is nice for them.

He's pushed back, she follows up.

Here comes the Dai Oni!  Only to be crushed!

That ends the village assault phase, now others take up the fight.

The scorpion attacks and kills a regular Oni.

Now the action moves to the centre.  Bits n bones go flying!

Never give an Oni a cunning plan.

Attack from the woods!  Repulsed.

Chariot goes down under the flashing blades.

Meanstwhile back on the flank - scorpion sends the monks fleeing.

In she comes, but only knocks the damn thing down.

It's up- surrounding it helps but it takes a lot!

Mummies going back - slowly.

Osirus comes out of hiding.

The chariot goes in - shoves the undead back.

Oni gets clobbered!

Osirus hides, she stalks---.

The Monks have changed their underwear and attempt to muller mummies badly.

Turn your back on the bunnies?

Bundle her! - That didn't work.

ALL they had to do - but no.

Ow - 6 vs 1, never good!

One advantage of mostly undead - "wot's morale?"  Can the bunnies bounce back?

I get it!  Culling a poor skelly gives me another dice.  Not much-

Oh that's just great - a draw!  Majority of forces awed!

So that's all mine done - rewenge is gotten.  My last 4 slaughtered!  Talk about to the wire!

Game 2  Loki vs Hades.  It's gonna get crowded!

Told you!  Tony tried Loki in mare form, in centre of table.

BAD Spot!

Getting in quick - Ymir and Hades clash!

Chariot crashes into trolls!  And dies-.

Utgard Loki is taken on by Spot - and looses. If he'd thrown the stick---.

Trolls challenged.

Hades cocks up!  Turnover plus 1 for Loki, who pops back into normal form.

That allows Loki to do his traditional teleport in & stab in the back.  Hades goes down.  Undead goes "and?"

See Spot Run!  He's the only not-dead in the force.

He's back!

Another reaction for Loki, who retreats.

Hades turn to stalk.

Cyclops vs Ymir.  Doesn't go well--

Trolls and an ice giant smash themselves against Hades like lemmings against the sea.

Troll wolves raven.

Now the forces of Loki converge on Hades.  Is he too hot for them to handle?

Ice giant is the first to fall.

The flank starts to heat up.

Utgard Loki, recovered the embarrassment of being beaten by a pet dog, moves in. Takes out a cyclops.

This is the Spag Bol Western moment when the opponents look at each other and the music changes--.

Wolves are repulsed.

Hades jumped by undead warriors - brushed off with contempt.

Undead bash trolls.

Troll wolves sent packing.

My unit is finally obliterated, but they did a good job.
