RS Nazi Werewolves and the Sauce of the Nile.

Personal note-  my computer has just about had it, this may cause some disruption.  I've also been orf Larping and suffering toothwise.  I've even been doing some painting!

The Prologue.  Do you ever get that sinking feeling that things are moving in the wrong direction?

That's how Grey feels. Yes all the enemy were killed, but so was lassie. And the troublesome priest who failed to complete his simple task.

Now he must press on to his final destination. The last game was “enlarged” so the base goes back to the standard 200. They gained a whole 3 from the last mission. Grey, Spot, Donner, Pointer come to 165, giving 37 to play-. Presumably Lucky was a newbie in reserve last time.

Secure area 1 hour. Dense terrain, LOS 12” They said it might rain- intense heat.

 The Game.

I took the guardians, with most inside the temple (this is so old, my first 15mm scenery item!).


Tony decided to be sneaky on his left and open on his right.



Spotting the movement, the guardians advance.



I made sure the Sauce was guarded.



A growling, hissing, slashing fight.


Outnumbered by agile foes, White Hood goes down.


Measnstwhile, the other flank attacks the mummies guarding the Sauce!


Club waddles up and saves White hood.


The wolves are outweaponed.  Donner and Pointer are slain.


Grey joins in the attack, but them mummies are tough.


The loss of the flank & 2 in quick succession causes a morale collapse in the remainder, who regroup.




They again attempt to take the Sauce before the Croc's can turn up.


Here they come-.




At last a Mummy goes down. -------


Grey takes down Hatchet. 2 of the Mummy's roll a 1 on morale- they can hardly surrender, so presume "loss of signal" and the leave.  Game-changer!  I'm now down to 2 Crocs, 1 already wounded.


Now the assault begins.



Club is down, White Hood is wounded.  Game over.  I'd have got away with it without those 2 1's!


Game 2, swap ends.



I concentrate down one side, moving stealthily.


Mummy!  First casualty!



Trying to draw them out-.




Damn Mummies!


That's- not good.


Every threat is an opportunity to get pummelled.


Gotcha!


Help is at paw.


Where did that come from!


Down, up, then out-.



Now the Croc's join in.  Here's a hint, leave their tails alone!




That leaves Grey!  So much for that strategy!  2 good, quick games.
