I took an £105 punt on RPE's kickstarter.
OK, it took a while longer than expected, but that's hardly unusual!
I get the impression that I was the only one not to order the castle walls!
china!
Here's my pledge:
Hamlet -£40.00. This was a limited number early backer deal. Excellent value!
Mixture of ply rather than MDF and cardstock.
- 70150 Small Church. Plus added gravestones and a handy "how to".
- 70110 Blacksmiths
- 70130A Medium Building A (brick and wood skin) (x2)
- 70130B Medium Building B (brick skin)
- 70120 Cruck house (I got a second one of these for £10)
House, blacksmiths and village well and you've yer centre.
Wheels - why so many extra wheels? Should be able to make some separate pan scourer roofs, one proper, the other ruined/burnt. Reminds me of the semi fortified farm houses you'll find on the Welsh/Scottish borders. Add the stables and will make a nice manor house opposite the church.
Extra doors nice touch, but window detail like shutters?
The Cruck houses were often thatched, calls out for a Proper Job! This picture, add the freebe hovel and scour pad thatch. NB, I prime with white gesso, which leaves the perfect chalky surface if you put on thin wash. Hard as nails is a perfect product for roughing walls as well as all basing.
Stable £7.00
Stone Bridge extension piece £5.00 Stone + Wooden Bridge extension £5.00
Stone + Wooden Bridge £10.00
Wizard's Tower /Watchtower £18.00 Not sure how to do this as it's going to be tall! Black card inside? Just to offset yer average white robed tenant.
