FL Crusties vs Japanese Corporate Mercs, Tarantino version.

I wanted to do something a bit more SF.  Delving into my pile (in need or serious organising) I find part of my Japanese Corporate Mercenaries and I had my Crusties close to hand.  Too close, I manage to drop both armies in one fell bump-.

The buildings are an old Poundland find.  2-3 pieces of scenery for a squid, proper job.

The rest are Snapdragon Studios, a real blast from the past- a mixture of 6mm & 28mm, so it evens out-.

I didn't get round to pointing the forces, so lets see how badly I did-.  Ouch, 1,046 of crusties wasted 2,577 Japanese.  Most of that was the walkers.

Why these should cut & paste differently from the online builder I've no idea.  Shaddup.

Gor bless GZG, 2 sides, same company.  Amazingly this is the first time the JCM have appeared on here.  I was waiting for the power armor which I got, assembled.  Plus vehicles for this urban force.  Same, got in last years Brigade sale.  Must complete project-.

Crusties- as used before.  Needs vehicles other than walkers, come on Jon!

The Game
Tony took the Crusties.  Horrendous period of initiative swapping.  Needless to say he got all his on while I just got me point squad -.

My point make it to the objctive, not hard-.

Crusty command.

OK who's next?  "Me!"

"Follow me- um-"

Armoured looking cool.

HSW team humping the kit.

Followed by a regular squad.

Specialists follow the boss.

These should be music.

Grunts supply rear support.

HSW set up-. (Yes I've done both carrying and set-up, don't you?)

"Shoot it!" which they did, pushing it back.

Blazing anti-infantry weapon rip the squad to shreds.

Robot vs Walker, walker gets shoved back again.

"Want some candy?" Scratch another squad ground to mince.  Do you detect a pattern?

"Now you're getting the hang of it!"

The heavy bruisers go toe-to toe with my point squad.

I come off worse-

The command group provide support.

The robot knocks the Armoured down, and my snipers take out 2 then run for cover.

One Walker goes hunting my specialists.

For once they only get knocked down.

The support finishes off the remnant.

My flank force finally arrives.

One goes down, the other is a crap shot-.

Those not involved.

A "could do better" result.  I need to upgrade the Jap SAW & launcher.  I worked them out ages ago, but lost on another computer somewhere.
